Audio: Rob Thomas "Her Diamonds"

So here I am! Yeah it's been awhile... ha.
Here are a few updates that's going on in my life.

I have been working on my music nonstop. Last week I reached a whole new level with my sound and style. Wow... I have a style now? Always wanted one
I'm really excited about this one track titled "Ocean." I used an old audio sample I took when I was in Hawaii. There is a major amount of time and work going into this track. I want something near or right on pure perfection. I have two versions of "Ocean" one version is a chillout mix and the other is a fast club mix. I love them both... so I think I will just end up discharging both.
You know I have never been 100% satisfied with my music. Don't get me wrong! I don't think my work is awful... I just wanna make something that blows my own mind. I remember hearing ATB's "Too Much Rain" for the first time. I couldn't believe someone could make such music. It blew my mind away.
Oh! a friend of mine sold me a new amp for my turn tables. So now I have something to hook up my Sonys and my lovely/loud Technics speakers. I have been DJing for 30 minutes a night... nothing real special just some random tracks. I posted a picture of my setup using my twitter and twitpic. [link]

Personal Life
Wow... I can talk a person's ear off about music but when it comes to my personal life I lock up ha-ha. So let's break the mold ok... everything in my life is starting to make senses to me. You really have to simplify things in life if you wanna enjoy what's around. So let's simplify with letters a-i.

a. I still wake up at 5am for work (blah)
b. I still love my McDonalds (never giving that shit up)
c. I love my little dog Bella and my very crazy cat Andre
d. I'm working on another Monkey Love video (check them out on my YouTube page: [link] )
e. I have been fixing up my apartment... I really love my home.
f. I have learned to love the person I am... no matter what others think
g. I am enjoying my time with my new girlfriend Candice
h. I wanna be something big one day (not sure what... but big!)
i. I can't wait for my vacation to Galveston, TX

So yeah... that's my life in a little nutshell. I would like to think I'm your all around typical guy. I've been told it's my true love for music and photograph that gives me an extra edge on another guys. But at the end of the day... I am who I am. I'm very thankful for the life I have... and for having a website where I can share my creative thoughts. This is only the beginning.
